Erick Simpson

Erick Simpson built and sold one of the first pure-play MSPs and co-founded MSP University, which coached IT providers through the move to managed services. His first book, The Guide to a Successful Managed Services Practice, came out in 2006, followed by books on selling, marketing and delivering managed services. Erick is Chief Strategist at Channel Mastered and runs MSP Mastered, the training built on his methodology. He co-hosts the weekly MSP Chat podcast with Rich Freeman and speaks at channel events, including CompTIA ChannelCon 2025.
